Haven’t been blogging for a long time, and that is because I just scared that I may fail my exams and hence, I didn’t blog. I know that there is totally no correlation or whatsoever, but I just didn’t ‘dare’ to blog.

Anyway, gotten my results and they were good and I really thank God for seeing me through. I never ever thought that I would have done so well, and last night I was so overjoyed that I couldn’t sleep.

Also I need to thank 4 friends whom I made in NTU, even though they speak chinese. Nothing wrong with chinese speaking freinds, but just that my chinese is so lousy that they have to purposely speak in english so that I won’t feel left out.

First on the list is between Foo Yue xin and Xie Jia Yin. Cause right…if not for Xie Jia Yin, I wouldn’t have known Foo Yue Xin. Still…miss Xie was a GREAT friend in the first sem I knew her even though she has a perpetual Bao Ching Tian face. The first project meeting I had with her….I was just wondering why she had to be so dao. Haha…but in the end it was ok…and still remembered that for one of our reports, it seem like before submission, it was just the two of us editing and going through. Thanks Jia yin.

Next is really FOO YUE XIN! It is actually she who gave me some hope in doing anything related with numbers. The night before my 301 paper, which she was taking as well, she was still explaining things to me and helping me understand lots of stuff. And in the end, I got an A, and really have to say that she was a big help. And it gave me the belief that I could score for the accounting modules. Cause I never went past a B+ for any of my accounting modules before I knew her. Thanks FOO!

And the next two friends would be Mian and Zhi. Mian…without your powerful report, most probably I wouldnt get such a high grade for my IMC. And all the going through of 311…discussing and all…thanks.

Lastly it would have to be Zhi. Though I knew her for the shortest time, I have to say that she is really genuine and genuinely funny. And everytime if I have problems with my repot for 301, she would just tell me what and how to do. Unlike the rest of the lousy fake people in NBS, she is not selfish! And a really nice person.

Ok…actually this post is dedicated to the four very nice friends whom I knew about a year back….and again, I just have to thank the four of you for making my last year in NTU a memorable one! Ok….I know I hate blogging about myself….but for this post, pardon me. I just am too overjoyed…and I just want to express a special thanks these four friends of mine!

It's quite easy to miss them!

This picture was taken at about 9 plus last night. I mean it is like so dangerous la. The company or the government body that is in-charge of getting these Indians or Bangladeshi workers better come up with better safety measures for them to paint the roads. It is so dark, and the road is sort of cornering…..it is really very easy for drivers not to notice them and just hit them down. And there goes a life. No doubt they were wearing luminous vest. But those vests that they were wearing are like so old that it is no longer luminous. Just imagine someone who is like a little tired or just not concentrating when driving…….(it happens so please don’t comment and say…if a person is driving he/she ought to do blah blah blah and blah…), the chance of hitting these people are super high. Or just imagine there is a kan chiong driver…and because he/she panicked at that moment, either

1) Step on the accelerator harder and hit both at one go.

2) Swerve the car to the left, hit the other car resulting in an accident and a jam.

Ok there are more combinations but I shan’t go on. Anyway…back to the topic…before someone gets killed…..either LTA or the contractor who employed these people to do the painting should review their procedures like NOW!

Saying by confucius

Well, Candy Ho…this is for you. Since you say where is the sign! You mean you really didnt see it. If you say yes to this question…then it really proves my point! Hahahaha….Anyway….sidetrack…..why do you think confucius is named confucius? I kept thinking about it the last sem. Is it because he has so may sayings that he is confused…..and hence the name confucius came about? Or is he trying to confuse everyone with his teachings? But then this teaching is not that confusing right. Ok….I am just talking rubbish here. And I KNOW IT!

Anyway…ever wondered why the see-saw is named see-saw? Is it because when they were sitting on it…and then right….it’s like….i see you…then when the thing goes down….then it becomes i saw you…and hence…they just named the bench like thing see-saw. I am just too lazy to goggle it. But my version makes sense also right…i mean like see – present tense. Saw – past tense. When was the last time you seen something named in this manner? Ok ….think about it.

And for those who have watched this before….I am so sorry. When it comes to utube video, as ZL says, I am three years behind. But this just goes to show how much life I have right…hahahaa……

Anyway…last sem, when I alighted at Pioneer MRT station…I will always come across this sign that reads like ‘ it doesnt matter how slow you go, as long as you dont stop.’ I may not get the exact wordings but you know what I mean. Last week, when I went running, I sort of understood this saying in greater detail in a very real way.

I haven’t been running for quite some time, and I kinda miss my body when I was in army. Oh well…complain again. So …ok…back to the topic of running…last week I went for a run, and I gave myself only 20 minutes to complete the one big round around my house. I think about 4 km or so. At the halfway mark, I took more than 10 minutes…and like during the 12th minute, I just wanted to stop…since I couldn’t make it. But I just remembered the words that I always see at the MRT station and I just carried on.

And to my surprise, I made it back in 19 mins 40 secs. And it just taught me a lesson to continue regardless of the situation…and somehow I may be surprised by the end result. Ok…maybe all these sounds like crap and nonsense to you guys reading it…but it means a lot to me. Ok…for those who understand….good for you. For those that don’t … erm…I also don’t know what to do. Maybe just wait for the next post to be more interesting. I will try my best!

The evil card!

Well, as I was on my way to school, I saw some primary school kids walking to school, and it sort of brought back some nice and fond memories of my primary school days. And I was just reminded how I used to go to school with only $2. No more or no less in the sense that if I brought $2 on that particular day, I will just spend $2, and nothing more.

Looking back, I think it was really good that I didn’t have ATM or Visa cards like now. Cause like…I will just spend what I have, and I wont overspend. But now…one reason why my bank account keeps going down and down is due to the fact that when I see something that I want to eat or buy, I just go to the ATM Machine and withdraw, or I just pay by nets. Guess many of you have such habits…but oh well…maybe can start keeping our ATM cards at home…and then our bank account will just INCREASE!!!

So maybe from today, I shall just put how much I want to spend for the day, and I will stick by it. But still, I won’t dare to leave my ATM card at home. Don’t know why…but I think if I don’t bring it out…I will really feel insecure. But while writing this, I think the main reason why we don’t need ATM cards when we were younger is probably because our parents would always make sure our ‘MRT Cards’ have enough money….and we have enough money for the recess and blah blah blah. But fast forward 10 years, we are just too lazy to check the value of our Ezlink cards…the cash card…and the rest of the things we carry with us. So in short, I don’t know about you…But I just need to carry my ATM card with me….even though I don’t want to!
